I'm hoping the update will help with this. I just now noticed as I've been shooting Nebula alot and its not appearing in these images. (Mosaics)

BTW, this is without LP filter.
Graxpert.
Yeah, I have similar issues. It only shows up when shooting WITHOUT the LP filter. IE, it shows up when shooting galaxies. Here is M51 from last night. This is the processed jpg produced by the Seestar itself.
You can easily see the 2 vertical bands on each side of the galaxy.
Do what with GraXpert?

Normally this would happen, it's due to reflections and will be resolved later by leveling the field.
I'm glad I ran into this thread. I have terrible banding on galaxies in my highly light-poluted skies, so much so that I don't even try to capture them any more. Good to hear there may be a solution.

Hi, could you please log in with your email and follow this tutorial https://h5.seestar.com/course/79221 to submit a log of the image issue? Thank you very much for any reply related cooperation.
Support@Seestar was the flat field correction introduced in the latest firmware update 2.4.1? I’m still experiencing the banding issue as others describe.

Not yet. It's gonna take a little while.

The flat field will be launched soon, please wait, this is not a defect, it is a condition of every machine.
Support@Seestar Thank you for your answer, i am relieved !
cyberdanny And EQ mode magnifies this situation. One suggested solution/workaround is to use 1.1 Framing. This will cause the sensor to shift slightly averaging out the noise. In ALT/AZ mode, since the object is actually rotating on the sensor this accomplishes the same averaging.
Credit for this workaround goes to other users on Cloudy Nights. It worked quite well for me on a two hour EQ exposure of M81/M82....
Strangely, I was not having this issue at all since the release of EQ mode. I updated to 2.4.1 three days ago and I've had this banding issue every night since.
