PMTeam@ZWO It is indeed on the supported camera list, but it doesn't work with the ASIAir Plus or Mini. The camera will connect to the ASIAir and will download images from the camera, but the ASIAir won't control the camera without a shutter release cable. It says "exposure failure." The problem is with the ASIAir software.
Hi, after upgrading the app to v2.3, my AM5 doesn't respect my AMF settings anymore. It now stops tracking and starts flipping 5 minutes before/after meridian, although I set both to 1 minute. Could you check why this happens? Thanks!

Dear ZWO, when I ran the new 2.3 version app, it triggered a firmware update. The firmware install went to 31% and just stopped. My firmware version is showing 11.56. Is all okay?

PMTeam@ZWO update done. For the next update I suggest this feature: the option to assign a specific gain value under AF parameters for each filters, and not only th exposure time. Now the gain is the same used to get the images, usually the optimal one (like 100 for my asi2600MC). But when you use filters will be great to perform AF procedure with a higher gain, like the max value. This will help to get better results with dim stars. Thanks

nhmorgan Sony will never work with Asiair, there isn't even official PC driver. Where is ZWO supposed to get the driver from?
One really useful feature would be the ability to perform tilt analysis in the app for adjustments. Since ZWO sells tilt adjuster plates, but there is currently no way to make those adjustments without connecting to a PC.
whereisclouds This is entirely irrelevant, the ASIAir isn't running on Windows. It's most likely using libgphoto2, which does support most Sony mirrorless cameras. With that said, using a remote shutter cable isn't the end of the world and it works just fine with that.

I have a GEM45 mount and it used to work with the USB hub workaround until v2.3. I updated to v2.3 and now it keeps on disconnecting the mount. I tried different USB hubs, tried connecting via ASI2600. Nothing worked. It would connect for few seconds and disconnect randomly. Wouldn’t start tracking. Tried connecting directly to ASIAIR pro, nothing worked. Really frustrating!

Hey ZWO--Been playing with the new firmware for a few days now. Wondering if there is any chance you could add the rotation information to a saved target that could even be used for someone without the new CAA. So that when a user revisits a target or mosaic, the plate solve would also help the user get back to the same frame with that rotation info. Anyhow stoked to see the CAA finally here and looking forward to buying one in the new year.
