The new version has been released. All #ASIAIR previous versions' users are encouraged to upgrade to this version.

PMTeam@ZWO update done. For the next update I suggest this feature: the option to assign a specific gain value under AF parameters for each filters, and not only th exposure time. Now the gain is the same used to get the images, usually the optimal one (like 100 for my asi2600MC). But when you use filters will be great to perform AF procedure with a higher gain, like the max value. This will help to get better results with dim stars. Thanks

PMTeam@ZWO Hello, having a big issue with my 3 ASIAir Plus disconnecting from my iPads after installing latest release and its BAD. My ipads are 10 feet from your AAP’s. Can you please fix whatever you changed. There’s way to really monitor what my 3 telescopes are doing when I can not keep a connection. HELP, and soon please!

Hi guys, I've just updated my ASiair Pro to version 2.3, and it seems that the Mosaic feature stopped working. I'm using my ASIair Pro with Nikon D5100. In the previous version of the app, before updating to v2.3, the Mosaic feature was working perfectly, but now it's greyed out. Is it because my Nikon D5100 is too old? On my second ASIair Pro device, with the previous version of the app, the Mosaic didn't work with Canon 1100D, but was working just fine with newer Canon 4000D.

I know it is possible to import mosaic data from Telescopius, but it's sooo muuuch easier to edit the mosaic within the app...

EDIT after checking - it seems that after the update to v2.3 the Mosaic feature is now greyed out also in my second ASIair Pro device, with ASI1600MC-Cool camera. So it's not a problem with a too old DSLR, it seems that the Mosaic feature got disabled at all??

I just watch a Youtube video for 2.3 Software and the Guy showed the outgreyed Mosaic Button.

He Also showed that it is not longer possible to manual rotate the Camera with the help of Asiair.

As that funktion is absolute critical for me as i cant reach my Imagetrain after pointing to the sky - i hope that this is a bug that this feature is gone!

Skolgi Hello, this is not the case. If CAA is not connected, all previous functions including mosaic, rotate, and frame are retained. If the mosaic and rotation buttons are grayed out, it is because the ASIAIR does not record the current camera angle. You only need to shoot in preview mode and then plate solve and synchronize, and all functions will be normal.

However - it would be great to be able to use the Mosaic for planning the session in advance, say, using one of the images stored on SD card. Is it possible somehow? If I plate solve one of the stored images it doesn't show in the Preview screen, nor is its FOV showing in the planetarium (it was always like this, so I'm not saying it's some sort of a bug - it just would be great to be able to setup Mosaic plans in advance).

Camera PC control is still not working for the Sony A7rV. I own 4 different ZWO cameras, but like to be able to use this camera with the ASIAir as well. It still requires an intervalometer cable to do so.

PMTeam@ZWO It is indeed on the supported camera list, but it doesn't work with the ASIAir Plus or Mini. The camera will connect to the ASIAir and will download images from the camera, but the ASIAir won't control the camera without a shutter release cable. It says "exposure failure." The problem is with the ASIAir software.

Hi, after upgrading the app to v2.3, my AM5 doesn't respect my AMF settings anymore. It now stops tracking and starts flipping 5 minutes before/after meridian, although I set both to 1 minute. Could you check why this happens? Thanks!

Dear ZWO, when I ran the new 2.3 version app, it triggered a firmware update. The firmware install went to 31% and just stopped. My firmware version is showing 11.56. Is all okay?

zephirus Hi. You can perform the following steps:
1 Click on the “i” icon and use "Reset Firmware"
2 Uninstall the ASIAIR APP
3 Re-download the ASIAIR APP from the App Store, you will be reminded to update the firmware after downloading.
