Well, your documentation indicates that the ASIAIR is compatible with the CEM60. To me this means that you have tested these devices on their current firmware. I have dealt extensively with iOptron in this matter and we have validated that the mount is (a) fully up to date on the firmware, (b) works over USB to serial using the same USB to serial adapter and iOptron supplied D9 to 4P4C cable that the ASIAIR won't work with, and (c) works with the iOptron StarFi wifi adapter which the ASIAIR won't work with. This does not seem to me to be an iOptron problem. Are you trying to say that the ASIAIR must use some earlier version of the CEM60 firmware? If I am not mistaken, the latest version of the CEM60 firmware was released four or five years before the ASIAIR Plus 256GB model was released.
FYI - High Point Scientific is sending me a replacement ASIAIR that should arrive in the next three or four days. I am going to test that device to see if the one I received was defective.
As a person who owns several ZWO cameras, an OAG, filter wheel, two EAFs, and a SeeStar S50, this response is quite disappointing. I was planning to purchase an AM5N, but am now reconsidering that plan. From my perspective, this is your problem to resolve, not iOptron's. If you want to tell me that the ASIAIR will not work with the CEM60 then just say so.
