According to our internal understanding and recent feedback, there is no mixing of coordinate systems during framing and capture. Once the framing is set in SkyAtlas, the framing box and field of view are fixed relative to the target. The actual rotation of the image should not change depending on whether the device is in Alt-Az or EQ mode — the framing should remain consistent.
That said, our team members have not yet tested this specific behavior in EQ mode in detail. Further testing will be done soon to verify this situation more thoroughly.
