Thank you again for your detailed explanation. Your description of the horizontal and equatorial coordinate systems is very clear, and we appreciate the effort to explain the issue.

Regarding the framing behavior in EQ mode:
According to our internal understanding and recent feedback, there is no mixing of coordinate systems during framing and capture. Once the framing is set in SkyAtlas, the framing box and field of view are fixed relative to the target. The actual rotation of the image should not change depending on whether the device is in Alt-Az or EQ mode — the framing should remain consistent.

That said, our team members have not yet tested this specific behavior in EQ mode in detail. Further testing will be done soon to verify this situation more thoroughly.

Support@Seestar I think the issue here is that it breaks when it's done as part of a plan. It works fine if you just make a frame and start immediately.

Thank you for checking our bug report.
I believe you will be able to confirm the phenomenon if you actually test it, so I look forward to seeing the results of your verification.

Note that the phenomenon does not occur on the meridian, as the rotation angles of the horizontal coordinates and equatorial coordinates are the same.
When verifying, please check with a celestial body located away from the meridian.

By the way, I used Google Translate to explain the bug in English.
The translation function has been excellent recently, and is very helpful.

If that’s the case, we kindly suggest submitting a log right after the issue occurs during the plan execution. This will help our team analyze whether there is a problem in the process and provide a solution more quickly.

In my experience, for planning, you must be connected to the Seestar to get the proper framing you want such as mosaic and eq mode. If you do a plan without being connected i believe the APP defaults to horizontal.
My issue is multiple nights of Mosaic shots stacking, If i pick a target in mosaic mode and start at 10pm end at 3am live stacking works fine, but Seestar creates two dates for the one plan ( 10pm-11:59pm and 12am-3am) and will not stack the two different dates together.

I have noticed that others have experienced the issue while in plan mode, but in my experience itis also occurring in single mosaic mode shooting. I understand how the framing is meant to work and it seems fine in alt/az mode but in eq mode the mosaic that is images is not the frame you selected using the frame rotation. It does appear to be centred correctly on the created frame but the rotation is wrong, it seems to be in the same rotation as the default frame but just re-centred on the selected frame. In the end you end up with a mosaic that doesn’t have what you selected in the image and a lot of what you didn’t want. If you look at my posted screenshot that shows the frame (red) with the small part of the nebula at the bottom of the frame and the nebula framed vertically, but if you look at the mosaic that was shot, the centre point appears to be the centre point of the red frame but the rotation is that of the blue frame

Let's see if the problem has been solved after the V2.6 update.
I think it should have been fixed by now, if there are still any issues after the update, I will continue to provide feedback.

I'm also reporting the same problem in single mosaic mode. It's a really annoying situation. I hope it gets resolved soon.

Support@Seestar The bug still seems to be there. Here is last night's frame that I selected and the resultant image that was captured.
As can be seen it appears to have resized the frame but didn't rotate the frame (ie the object orientation is as per the blue scope frame rather than the rotated blue Target frame.

Also the images since the Latest update now seem to have a horrid red cast (at least on LP filter images)

Garin This is not a bug. The reason this happens is because you have not enabled the "Execute enhancement after GOTO" feature, which can cause saved frame positions to change. However, we have submitted a request to modify related settings to improve this.

Today I down-loaded the app & firmware updates (ver 2.6 & 5.34). Despite the full moon, I just tested the system on NGC 7000 (N America Nebula) with framing set so that "Mexico" is at the bottom. The framing window lined up nicely without an angle adjustment (i.e. 0 deg),

I have not (yet?) used plan mode.

Unfortunately, the mosaic framing bug in EQ mode has NOT been fixed. The "Mexico" portion of the image is at the left side of the image frame instead of the bottom and thus what I want in the photo does not fit: most of the Cygnus Wall is outside of the frame. For the mosaic problem, I found a workaround: I stack the individual light frames in Siril using the script from Deep Space Astro "DSA_Mosaic_Seestar_Preprocessing". My Siril-stacked mosaic is shown at.

I do not use and DO NOT WANT TO USE "Execute enhancement after GOTO" because I first goto a star to check focus. (And note, another bug that has not been fixed: the automatic autofocus bug, I have a good focus setting stored, The Seestar is in focus when it is first started. I do not want autofocus disturbing my focus setting. It also wastes time.)

With the workaround, I can make mosaics but this is still an annoying bug that has not been fixed.

I confirm that your proposed solution (toggle "Execute Enhancement after Goto") is a problem because then we cannot force the LP filter to be ON. (when the telescope does a GOTO, it chooses automatically whether it puts the LP filter on or not). I tried to override manually before pressing GOTO but it does not work.
