russell.schlapper I reported this issue during the Beta of 2.4 (https://bbs.zwoastro.com/d/22676-asiair-v24-public-beta-released/20). Another user also confirmed the same thing. It looks like this is primarily impacted by the Smart Cameras, I am using the 2600MC Air. I also reported an issue with Flats and other users unfortunately reported the same flat exposure issue. I submitted bug reports as well as a support ticket on the ZWO website. It seems like they rushed to get this update out to support their new EAFs without fixing a known issue that makes it impossible to image unattended. Very disappointed they would knowingly release an "official" version with multiple reports of the same issue. The response to my ticket was "Sorry for the inconvenience, delete and reinstall the beta again, submit a new bug report if the problem persists." Very frustrating.

You are NOT forced to update. App updates are controlled by your device.

You can turn off auto update for the ASIAIR App via the Play Store App on your phone for Android.

On Apple - you have to turn off auto update for all apps via the App Store.

Remember: The ASIAIR App on your device and the firmware on the ASIAIR itself are a matched set.

Corsair If you are on iOS and have the Test Flight app installed, there is an option at the bottom to see previous builds (beta builds). I was able to download 2.3.3 and reinstall that over 2.4. I don't know how long these previous builds will stay on the app but it is the only way I found to get a previous build if you did not save it yourself.

Is there a reason that the max exposure to Polar Alignment has been limited to 3 seconds? With narrowband filters I sometimes have to do anywhere from 5 to 10 seconds in order for it to solve. It simply won't solve at 3 seconds.

zox1111 yes that a bit of a mad one. Only option is to ramp up the default gain during PA

That may be true but never had a problem doing a polar align with filters before. This is a very mediocre release. Tonight I've had to send multiple logs of problems.

PMTeam@ZWO as has been pointed out on this forum many times, many telescopes have filter threads such that the filter needs to be mounted in the optical train and can only be removed by removing the camera. RedCat is one such example. It is impractical to perform a polar alignment without a filter and then place the filter inside since this means removing the camera. A filter slider is no solution since the RedCat is not designed for that. Please restore the possibility for long polar alignment exposures.

p099gll When focusing manually, making a change in fast mode made the focusser go all the way in from 7000 to 0. There was no way to stop it. After manually going back from 0 to 7000, autofocus did work

Hello. We recommend that you roll back the firmware, uninstall the APP, re-download and install it, ensure a clean installation, and try again to see if the above problem occurs. If it is convenient, I hope you can record a video to show us the performance further. Please also upload the log after the problem occurs, thank you

Two-point polar. Would not plate solve near celestial north. Homed and restarted several times. No go.
